The majority of the time, their entrance requirements will also list the minimum GPA, the subjects you must have studied before enrolling in the course, and the minimum score you must achieve on the required exams.

If you can’t meet these criteria, cross that university from your list.

My GRE score is 315, my TOEFL score is 116, and my converted GPA is 3.50 on a scale of 4. I also have a scientific degree. Therefore, transferring areas in order to pursue an MFA is not something that all of these universities will accept.

I will have to take Ohio State University, San Jose University, and Oklahoma State University off my list in light of these requirements.

This will enable you to eliminate colleges whose curricula don’t appeal to you.

I was able to exclude North Carolina State University (too technical) and the University of Arizona using this filter (the subjects are not very interesting to me).
