Early Action

Applying to colleges early often gives you the best chance of getting in. This is especially true for schools that have early action programs. To be eligible, you must receive your application by November 1st.

Schools usually inform students of admissions decisions in December. More often than not, you can apply to multiple institutions through early action programs, and you won’t have to make your choice until late spring.

Early Decision

Early Decision programs also have a Nov. 1 application date, but they are different from Early Action programs. How To Apply To UNCG

The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) does not offer students the opportunity to apply for Early Decision. With this in mind, students can apply at an early stage.

Early Action is similar to Early Decision in that it allows students to apply early to the university and receive an admissions decision earlier; however, it differs in that early action is not considered mandatory.
